Kontrakt for configuration audit på Nansen-klassen

Forsvarsmateriell har inngått kontrakt med Navantia om å gjennomføre configuration audit på Forsvarets fregatter.

Kontrakten omfatter en gjennomgang av fartøyenes tegninger, samt inspeksjoner om bord for å verifisere om tegningsgrunnlaget reflekterer fysisk konfigurasjon.

Verifikasjonen er nødvendig for videre planlegging av kommende modifikasjoner på Nansen- klassen. Arbeidet skal ferdigstilles innen utgangen av 2022 og verdien på kontrakten er på opptil fire millioner euro. 

Forsvarsmateriell Maritime kapasiteter vil snarlig invitere til prekvalifisering for deltakelse i konkurranse om en rammeavtale for fremtidig vedlikehold og modifikasjoner av Nansen- klassen.

NDMA has signed a contract for configuration audit of the Fridtjof Nansen-class frigates

The Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency (NDMA) has awarded a contract to Navantia for work connected to the physical review of the vessels, an analysis of the documentation for the changes that have been made, and updating the existing project database. 

The verification is necessary for further planning of future modifications to the Nansen class. The work will be completed by the end of 2022 and the value of the contract is up to 4 million EUR. NDMA will soon invite the industry to pre-qualify for participation in a competition  regarding a framework agreement for future maintenance and modifications of Nansen- classes frigates.
